Sharon Burns founded Kingdom Mantles Ministry (KMM) in 2013. She also co-Pastor’s with her husband, Senior Pastor Reverend Johnny L. Burns, Sr., at the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Ledyard, Connecticut (CT) for over 28 years. Reverend Johnny and Pastor Sharon Burns have been blessed with four wonderful children along with their spouses. She is a grandmother of 13 extraordinary grandchildren (8 girls and 5 boys), and has been blessed with one great granddaughter Avielle Mariyah.
Pastor Sharon has operates in all facets of the ministry: Praise & Worship Leader and Instructor, Youth Director, Spiritual Advisor for troubled teens in state facilities, and counselor to many of various ages. She is experienced in Pulpit Ministry, Women’s Conferences, Seminar Facilitator, Street Evangelism, Prison Ministry, and a former Musical Recording Artist. She is a dynamic teacher and preacher of the gospel, who has been chosen to wear the prophetic mantle and freely flows in the gift of prophecy. In addition to church ministry, Pastor Sharon also works within the New London County Community. She is currently a member of the Chaplaincy Board of the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, and a former Board Member of the Work & Learn Program (a faith-based non-profit organization empowering individuals to be successful in their lives and in the workplace). She is a former Board Member of the CT Adoption and Family Services. She also attended and successfully completed a Pastoral Counseling Training Program through The Saint Francis Academy for Clinical Pastoral Training. Pastor Sharon Burns’ aim and sole purpose is to please the Lord by helping others to build up God’s kingdom here in the earth for “only what we do for Christ will last.”
